Vaughan out with injury. The Flintoff / Strauss Captaincy debate returns.
(Preview)
Vaughan has injured his hamstring and will not play in at least England's next match. Andrew Flintoff returns to the captaincy. Who would be the best pick in your opinion? Flintoff or Strauss. I'm starting to think Strauss as Flintoff hasn't looked too comfortable having to bowl sides out by himself...

England Victorious (the thread formerly known as Latest results discussion CB series (the thread formerly known as England victorious!))

(Preview)
I had the strangest dream last night - England won a match on Australian territory. The bowling was disciplined, the fielding was of a high quality, and we didn't even fall apart after losing 5 wickets early on in our run-chase. Should I be worried about these bizarre nocturnal visions? Is medica...

Is this the worst English X1 ever?
(Preview)
...or is it that the Aussies are just so **** hot. That score of 110 on a docile batting strip like Adelaide ranks up their with some of the early Croat scores in the late nineties. In fact, Bilic and boys could possibly make the English X1

Shahid Afridi gets 4 match ban
(Preview)
For waving his bat at a spectator who clearly had a few choice words to him as he was dismissed. In my opinion this is a bit over the top. Anyone who has seen Afridi hit something with his bat would know that if this were the case ("Mr Afridi's actions were a clear threat to that spectator, and had t...

As local Slovenian beers "Union" and "Laško" have taken a bit of criticism I thought I'd ask what brews other forum members are quite partial to. Myself I quite like - in no particular order Steinlager - a clean crispy New Zealand lager. Very refreshing Red Stripe - Jamaica...

Best and worst cricket commentator?
(Preview)
While everyone is obviously a fan of Richie Benaud as we have all listened to his nasal whine for the last 45 years or whatever... there are other commentators. Who makes you laugh, who makes you cringe? I quite like Mike Atherton and Nasser Hussain from what I've heard and Bill Lawry's enthus...

That is the worst decision I have ever seen since Gatting, Gooch, and Lamb got triggered LBW in Pakistan. Amazing effort from Wilko, though. Good to see him back.
