This is the thread where you can share great cricket YouTube links.

I'll begin things with Adam Gilchrist vs Monty Panesar. Not only does it contain some great shots, but possibly the most moronic commentary ever courtesy of the Simon O'Donnell, Mark Taylor and Ian Chappell brains trust.

Enjoy

Adam Gilchrist 24 in one over, with moronic commentary

The man they call "Pigeon" - Glenn McGrath at his very best.

Ooh Aah Glenn McGrath

and that is a hattrick. Pretty useful 3 batsmen sent on their way

Sure. Why not? If our readers are likely to enjoy it, stick it up anyway.

Well.....

There was a tiny bit of cricket in it, I suppose. More than the "Ghostriding the whip" clips, anyway.

The Dean Jones dismissal is also a thing of beauty- the expectant look to the square leg boundary as the ball skies to mid off...

The reason Ian Botham is not regarded as the greatest England captain may become a little clearer around 55 seconds into this clip.

Nice couple of Double Entendres in here too from David lloyd and Michael Holding.

A few funny moments from the Sky commentary team

That was way too close to the bone. I had about 70 deja vu experiences watching that.

Still nowhere near as funny as Croatian Paceman losing the plot bigtime in an international match vs Finland while the Croatian press were interviewing teammate Rob, Cries of **** after releasing balls 3 incjes from his toes or 3 piches wide of the batsmen in length, width and indeed height.

Nice find though El T

After the weird post above, I'll head back to some cricket related clips.

It appears this cricket game has a few idiosynchrocies. I present the following for your amusement.

Well left sir

and this

Good fielding

I haven't watched the clip yet, but Kevin "Bloody" Wilson compared to Chas & Dave is one of the strangest things I have heard on this forum. Basically he's a guy that sings songs that contain swearing in order to amuse. Sample lyrics

"Do you **** on first dates? Does your dad own a brewery? Can I feel your **** or will you show 'em to me?"

Lowbrow, lowest common denominator attempts at humour. In my opinion about as funny as being poked in the eye with a sharp stick.

edited to add... It was as bad as I feared, Im afraid. Not one of our best exports.

Just found Inzamam Ul-Haq's famous Aloo moment or at least the aftermath as he finds himself in the stands defending himself against those who would have him as a POTATO.

(aloo means potato for those of you without experience of Indian and Pakistani restaurant menus)...

But if you thought that calling someone a potato was the worst possible insult from that part of the world check out the posts underneath the clip. Wouldn't get past the censor on this site I'm sure.

Does anyone know why Harbejan didn't walk? The only reason I can think is that he was claiming Jones had knocked the bails off without the ball...

Nice one, reminds me of a certain TS Furness in that champagne opening video.

 Check these intellectual giants here.

OK the link to cricket is rather tenuous here, but 3 or 4 LjCC members once saw something similar happen live on Slovene TV while we laughed like schoolchildren in the background.

 warning rude word ahead

the presenter's face is priceless.
