Yeah, watched the Zimbos last night with Herr Oberfuehrer Oman. Listening to his comments after the great performance from Zimbabwe was just like going back 3 years to the Ashes. Excuses ranged from poor wicket to the rain. Most amusing.
My bet's on the Kiwis. They're a pretty tidy unit. Mind you, England do have a honest chance proving they can keep their windpipes clear.
Black Caps top order looks a bit flimsy though (cue comment from El Presidente)...
Bangladesh are going to take some beating: outrageous sloggers, crafty spinners, young fielders. They might not have the nous in tricky conditions though.
And I could hear the non-whinging whinging from here... Still, best not crow until Saturday.

Hogg got spanked in the warm-up, hence the omission. But, yes, slower is better in this format.
Good to see that Twenty20 is such a leveller - that Zim and Bangla (and Scotland) can compete. Even Uganada beat Kenya last week. Might not be too long before we see some Balkan countries in the big comps.

Yeh that Taylor guy is rubbish. Just put it on a nice length around his off stump and watch it go clunk.
My response to Australia's defeat to Zimbabwe. Bastards. Still I'd rather have the occasional loss to Zimbabwe than have to rely on Kirtley, Maddy and Schofield to win games for me.
Schofield has bowled rather well, at least until that last over. And your lot have got to pick Hogg. That said, they bowled beautifully under pressure. Full marks to the Aussie bowlers.
