I'm surprised that Symonds is in there and also shocked at how many he's played. He's got skill and ability but I'd be surprised if he's the best you can offer.

Pretty good line up tho!

Personally I'd want to see Mick Lewis, Mitchell Johnson, Phil Jacques and Martin Macague in there, as well, but I shan't quibble.

I think with the selection of Symonds, you're being a little (read outragously) hard on a few Aussies.

The following must be simmering (read restlessly bustling in exertive force) in their graves, or, if not dead, would so (erm?)...

1. Don Bradman
2. Keith Miller
3. Ray Lindwall
4. Richie Benaud
5. Bill O'Reilly
6. A. Border
7. D. Boon

and probably many, many more I cannot think of...

This is like one of those ridiculous 'greatest films of all time' lists you get every year. Almost all the selections are from the last 5-10 years. People have very short memories.

Fair enough, but one-day cricket is a modern game. Who's to say Bradman would have been any good at it. After all, Michael Vaughan is (was) a class act when it comes to test cricket but he averages 27 in ODIs.

And Glenn McGrath is also a class act when it comes to test cricket but he averages 3.83 in ODIs - a nice story about his Ljubljanesque ineptitude with the willow in One dayers here
