Congratulations to a fantastic athlete, who is a wonderful role-model and an inspiration to 1000s of athletes around the world and who deserves all the recognition she deserves. She is amazing as she continues to compete with other Athletes much less than half her age and still beats a lot of them.
I must say however, that I am certainly disappointed to hear that our Al was cruelly pipped at the post, but I guess it's no disgrace to be beaten by one of the world's fastest women ever.
Well done to Al for representing the club so well, and thanks to all of those who took the time to vote.
