Ashley Giles has received a lot of crictisism lately, while Monty Panesar it seems can do no wrong (I know I'm a huge fan) but this has made me think about some of the English spin "experiments" over the last 10 years. Not too many have been very successful it must be said. OF the following players who do you think chucked the biggest pies?
I am shocked to see Ian Blackwell leading the poll. No way. He has been one of our most economical bowlers in ODI cricket. Granted, his international batting has been a disaster thus far, but we need him back in the fold. He is a class container.

Who? This guy?
The forum has spoken. He's a bit rubbish it seems.

(I voted for Gareth Batty myself)
The forum and the England selectors. He hasn't been included in the provisonal list of 0 for the Worldl Cup. Clearly he is not in their future plans as the other 2 notable ommisions were Darren Gough and Geraint Jones, so that sounds like scrap heap to me for mr Blackwell.
Peter Such should be exempt for receiving a standing ovation in 1999...for scoring a 51-ball duck against the Kiwis. That series really was the nadir...
I always thought the definition "timeless test" could be extended to those with NZ in the 1990s ... I remember Moxon scoring 99 in an innings that lasted from 1989 until about 1993. I listened to the whole thing on TMS.
