Now that Damien Martyn, Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath have all announced their retirements from test cricket this year, have we seen all we are going to see with Australian and English players retiring?
Justin Langer is unlikely to play at the world cup, so will he stick around until Australia's next test series in 11 months time? What about Matty Hayden, another who has been left out of recent one-day plans? Adam Gilchrist has said he won't stick around for ever.
I personally think at least one of this group will retire shortly or after the World Cup next year. I have a feeling that Ashley Giles could be a dark horse for an early retirement as well.
One of the openers to get the chop for Phil Jaques or Mark Oman at the end of this series. Brad Eve to replace Pigeon.
Hayden's days are numbered. Goodbye, Gilly, after the World Cup. Rob Crawford to assume the keeper/batsman role.
If McGilla doesn't get the nod after Warne, he may throw the towel in. Brett Lee will keep taking wickets in one-dayers, but will feel pressure if he continues to be pasted in Tests. Ian Donchi a possible replacement, in his underpants.

Why doesn't " Ian Donchi a possible replacement, in his underpants" get censored?

You will play better Today than you did Yesterday, and almost as much as you will Tomorrow

Trust me - Ian Donchi in his underpants is a far better sight, than Ian Donchi out of his underpants.
We can add Michael Bevan today. So (although in different forms of retirement to be fair) we have this year McGrath (retiring from all cricket after the World Cup), Warne (still playing ing England) Langer (Still playing for his state side) Damien Martyn and Micheal Bevan (Retired from all cricket).
Combined that and you will find a lot of international appearances for Australia.
We will probably see some other players calling time after the World cup. Lara perhaps? Jayasuriya? I would expect to hear a few more players retiring in the next few months to take place after the World Cup.
