The club has no name as yet. One working title is The Montreal Scottish Cricket Club. We are scything down corn crops in Quebec and building a cricket field, just like Field of Dreams. If you listen carefully at night, you can hear Don Bradman, who scored a double ton in Canada, whispering among the corn.
Like Estonia, our cricket is evolving to suit the climate. We envisage ice clashes on the Rideau Canal.
I believe Slovenian groundsmen have already been headhunted by the Canadians to turn their Arctic tundra into Lord's. Perhaps if eleven of you come out as groundsmen, and just happen to play a match, then your trip will be tax deductable.
