a few people here who may be buying their first cricket bat so I though I would drop this here.
might prevent some disappointments with shelling out a lot of money for a bat which breaks after a few innings (assuming you manage to hit the ball of course).
Maybe it might also be worth a few people sharing the cost of a mallet ? or maybe the club just buy one for people to share. It does make the job a bit easier.
