Having a look outside, it looks rather like a good day to play some cricket.

I suggest we have a net real soon. Anyone up for a bit of that?

Thought we might get one in this week, but this "where the hell did that come from" snow might have scuppered those plans.

2 days of official winter left and we get our first real snow. Bugger.

 I'm keen, but after facing your last violent beamer - you can face first. Incidentally, should any LJCC player being reading this - our first match is in less 3 weeks. Would be a good week to go and get some practice in the net. The Munich buffet car is pulling into Valburga central on the 21st of this very month. I suggest next Monday (a public holiday) at the very latest for a good hard net.

 We're waiting for it to be sent from Vienna. They have done it, they are just fine-tuning it to make it fit. Our fixture list here is as up-to-date as we can be.

We'll let you know when we get the Open league fixtures (expected shortly)

Should have been down polje with Old Man Crawford, El Tres and myself today then. None of us have improved, but none of us has got worse as we went through the motions quite impressively down at Polje nets today. we all surrendered at least once to a rash stroke, we all flayed one or two over the ropes and we al will feel like ****e tomorrow.

meanwhile Maribor double defeated Mezica in a 30 over and a 15 over match at Valburga. Growth is a good thing, Maribor and Mezica are up and running without any assistance, guidance or general nuisnace making from LjCC. Bortu has promised to send me the scores and pics tomorrow. Stay tuned if you are out there.
